This 4-star resort is situated just 500 metres from the Red Sea and has a shared private beach with Amphoras Blu and a large lagoon-style pool surrounded by sun loungers. All rooms offer balconies. Private parking is free.

Rooms at Amphoras Aqua Resort feature modern furnishings mixed with warm earth tones. Some include a private terrace overlooking the gardens and pools. Each en suite bathroom is stocked with bathroom amenities, a sewing kit and a hairdryer.

Has everything you might need

This hotel has everything you might need, the staff from management to pool boys are keen to serve. Food was decent everyday for all meals, pool was clean. Walkable distance to private beach. AC worked well. It's a 3 star hotel by Egyptian standards so expect this level of finishing on things

- slow charging from room sockets - Some uninvited male attention from some staff but minor. - common areas in the apartments are dusty and unclean but rooms themselves are clean and room service was good. - check out is at noon but was called and visited 3 times in the last hour pressuring me to check out, not sure why - some towels and sheets had stains.

Great value all-inclusive hotel near to the beach.

Great all-inclusive hotel near to the beach. All of the meals were diverse with lot of options, free drinks and a beautiful terrace to eat near the pool. You can use the Amphoras Blu partner hotel's beach, which is 10 min walk from the hotel. All inclusive food/drinks are free there also! The beach has beautiful coralls, fish and lots of sunbeds. We loved our stay.

Good, but oldish furniture, it could be a bit newer and cleaner. Allergens in meals couldn't be identified/not written.

Nice stay

The staff was so friendly, supportive and helpful ( Bassem, Oamr, Mostafa and Mr. Mahmoud), there is no much food varieties but with good quality, the beach @ blue hotel so good, the aqua wasn't big but fine for all ages. Good for relaxation and family trip as well

Good value for money

To begin with, important to realize that this is a BUDGET hotel. So you get what you pay for. I think that this is a hotel having very good value for the money you pay. On a positive note, the hotel has water slides, overall it is clean and in general people are friendly. The hotel is not directly at the beach but you can get there by 15 mins walk at the sister hotel Amphoras Blu. There were different fruits and cakes during the meal time. For evening entertainment, I went to Amphoras Blu where they had nice shows like Fire show, Oriental show etc. There is some day time animation as well.

Although there is in principle formally all kinds of food, the variety is not that big. There is chicken, beef and fish, one sort each every meal. One time in a week we had sea food. Also there are many cakes and pastries that look very different but taste same so putting different ingridients inside cakes would be appreciated. The variety of alcohol is also sort of limited, and all alcoholic coctails you need to pay for separately. The evening animation was not so well organized so I usually went to the sister hotel Amphoras Blu where similar shows were better organized. Also, it would be much better if they would announce and invite people to the day time animation through loudspeakers, otherwise it is easy to miss these activities.

Matches the price.

The general manager is a very king person and knows how to treat guests. However, the cleaning stuff can be very insulting. The way to the beach is not what one would want.... especially not when the sun is out high. The pools are nice, the food was not bad, plates and cups could be washed more properly.

Just the cleaning stuff and their attitude.

It was very amazing and the staff is incredible

The staff was very friendly, helpful and made my stay very comfortable. We had pancakes, pizzas, ice creams everyday. People who are working at this hotel are always smiling and trying to make you enjoy the most.

The lack of information regarding the animation in Amphoras Aqua and other Amphoras, the gym was in another Amphoras and I had to argue to have access.

Good

I was transferred to the Amphoras Blu hotel, which is next to the Amphoras Aqua. I didn't expect the staff to be so friendly and welcoming. There is a beautiful coral reef accessible from the shore of the hotel. It was mostly quite at night since most of the evening activities would take place at the Amphoras Aqua hotel, which is next to where I stayed. Food is prepared well.

I was transferred to the Amphoras Blu hotel, which is next to the Amphoras Aqua. The facilities feel old even though they take care of the place. There are no things to do in the area around the hotel, so you have to go to other parts of the city. Even though the food is good quality, there is not a lot of choice and the dishes are not special.

Very nice park, good food, but customer service could be much better.

The park is nicely decorated with lots of plants and every day you will see gardeners working on keeping it this way! There is a great beach with many facilities, for example bars, a diving centre, swimming pool with slides, beach volleybal area, etc. As well the food selection is great and there is plenty every day to choose from. If you book an all-inclusive it will not disappoint.

The staff on the other hand, could have been more friendly and turned towards the customer, especially in the reception. One assumes automatically that you speak Russian (which I do not), and this is the first language you get approached in. It would be much better, especially to feel personally recognized as a guest, that you get greeted in both English and Russian and then the customer can choose him or herself in what language they want to reply. While standing at the reception (and after making eye contact multiple times) no one would ask if they could help me, this is not okay! I should not be the one coming forward, etc. once you, as a receptionist, see someone standing at your desk, you should ask them immediately if you can help the customer, that is just decent respect. On top of that they would see that other people just skip the queue and dont say anything about that. Once finally getting through and adressing your issue, you might have to come back multiple times before your request is getting handled (eg asking for towels)
